I have a few questions for Mr. Gallegly. Who is "we"? Exactly what "dream" is he talking about? The dream that he, the wealthy homeowner, can overcome local restrictions designed to protect me, the average homeowner? Can he give me an example how House Resolution 1534 helps me, the average homeowner? If not, perhaps this bill is simply another way to hand out more favors to rich contributors, contributors who can spend thousands in federal court to fulfill their special interests that sometimes overlook the common good.
