Osama Bin Laden and Jean Paul Sartre

by Mike Mihaljevich<aardvark@nccn.net>

Sartre: Are you ready to give up your life for your beliefs?

Osama: No, duh!

Sartre: Your position is an existential one, I take it.

Osama: Eliminating the Great Satan is to make Existence more pleasant.

Sartre: What are your ethical criteria?

Osama: The less Christians, the better.

Sartre: You mean even self-respecting, spiritual, non-materialistic Christians?

Osama: An oxymoron, a contradiction in terms.

Sartre: And life would be good under a Fundamentalist Islamic regime?

Osama: Of course, it may take ten thousand years to wipe out the influences of the West.

Sartre: You'd be dead of course and no one around to judge if it were indeed better.

Osama: We have faith.

Sartre: You are religious?

Osama: A follower of the Prophet, of course.

Sartre: So you can use all this to justify Terrorism as a policy?

Osama: What is terrorism to one is a liberation movement to others.

Sartre: So there is no limit to what you do if you think it will contribute to the demise of the Great Satan, the Materialism and Self-indulgent Narcissism ot the West.

Osama: Couldn't have said it better myself.

Sartre: Are you God?

Ossama: That is for others to determine.

Sartre: Any last comments?

Osama: The food you just ate was poisoned and you have one hour to live.
