I’m Dennis Allard. I have maintained this oceanpark.com site since 1995 as a place to offer consulting services provided by my colleagues and myself in the areas of database design, software design, special effects, and Web site development.
In addition, beginning in 2009 I started a blog which I dubbed The Ocean Park Column to cover several categories including mental health, satire, humor, and various political content. Initially, I started writing here to chronicle the plight of my brother who had been diagnosed with Paranoid Schizophrenia. Beyond that, I and a few others post articles here from time to time to express our views about society on subjects from politics to technology, sometimes via sarcasm, sometimes straight commentary, and sometimes just to share fun stuff.
